La actual crisis marcará la temática del nuevo disco de Bon Jovi, "What About Now" que saldrá al mercado el próximo mes de marzo.
Abordará asuntos serios sobre el mundo moderno, según palabras de Jon Bon Jovi. El músico describe el trabajo como "un gran disco de rock" y añade que incluye "muchos comentarios de corte social" incluyendo la crisis económica global y el desempleo.
El músico afirma también que la actual crisis que acomete a la industria de la música no le preocupa, y ve la situación como una oportunidad de hacer las cosas de la misma manera en que las hizo cuando la banda estaba empezando. "Escribes una canción para ti. Si a las personas le gusta, la escucharán" declara. "Lo que ocurre está fuera de nuestro control, pero eso no me frustra".
La banda ha sido recientemente anunciada como la primera atracción principal en un festival de dos semanas en el Hyde Park de Londres. El "British Summer Time" incluirá cuatro conciertos principales presentados por cuatro grandes bandas, aunque el evento funcionará con conciertos de menor porte durante una semana entre el 28 de junio y el 7 de julio.
